Grammy Awards 2008 - Los ganadores

Ayer se llevaron a cabo, como todos los años, los Premios Grammy. La gran e indiscutida ganadora fue la inglesa Amy Winehouse quien, pese a los enormes problemas que tiene con su adicción a la droga, me parece una muy buena artista y creo que se merece ganar todo lo que se ganó. Más aún teniendo en cuenta contra quienes competía: Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake y otros artistas de ese tipo. Solo en un par de ternas compitió contra Foo Fighters, quienes se llevaron dos premios igual que Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen y The White Stripes (ninguno por "Conquiiiiiista" por suerte).
En cuanto a cine, nuestro Gustavo Santaolalla no pudo ganar por la BSO de "Babel" (se lo llevó la de "Ratatouille") y el más que recomendable film "Across the Universe" tampoco alcanzó la estatuilla con su compilado de covers de The Beatles peeero... quién ganó? Sí, "Love", el compilado de los escarabajos, y con las voces de los Fab Four, nada de covers. Donde directamente no coincido es en "Mejor Canción de Película", donde ganó la de "Dreamgirls", "Love You I Do". Sí, ya sé que yo siempre voy a tirar para el rock, pero en la misma terna estaban Eddie Vedder ("Guaranteed", Into the Wild), Chris Cornell ("You Know My Name", Casino Royale) y Glen Hansard y Marketa Irglova ("Falling Slowly", de la película "Once") y Prince!! Pero bueno...
De las ternas de rap, R&B y demás no opino porque la verdad no tengo ni la más pálida idea.
